You're sitting there Dell Inspiron 6000 Battery, playing around with the beta version of Windows 7, and you're thinking to yourself: "this is pretty cool Hp Pavilion Dv6 Battery! When does it come out?" That's what everybody wants to know - there has been rampant, widespread speculation that the OS will be released sometime this year. However, does that add up?
Let's look at our OS history: Vista was released on January 30th, 2007 dell inspiron 1525 battery, exactly two years ago. Before that, XP was released on October 25, 2001. That's a gap of a little over 5 years - will the same hold true for Windows 7? Many experts claim cheap that "no", and I tend to agree with these people. Why?
Taking a look at public perception, XP is still considered the definitive version of Windows. So replacement much so that laptop producers like Dell are offering the OS at a premium on any new laptops. Vista was destroyed after Microsoft allowed their brand new OS to be shop bad-mouthed by anyone with half a mind and a blog - something that they should've rectified immediately after the OS was released. However, by allowing Vista to be perceived cheap as bad software sold at a price that was (and still is) far too high, even people who hadn't touched the OS (here's looking at you Mojave) thought that it was just charger horrible.
So, to rectify the Vista situation, which was only made worse once Apple realized they could keep railing on Vista through their funny little Mac vs PC gateway commercials, Microsoft is going to have to release Windows 7 this year. It may still have problems (after all, nothing is perfect), but the new features that Windows 7 new have will definitely change public perception on the Windows brand and allow Microsoft to reclaim those that jumped ship to Mac or Linux.
Apart from that, earlier store this week samsung laptop adapters, a blog I frequent published a story explaining that Windows 7 should be given to Vista users as either a free upgrade or for an extremely low price. I agree compaq with that sentiment entirely. Because of all the problems that Vista has caused Microsoft, they will regain all the good will they lost if they follow this plan. Sure, discount they'll lose some money, but they can regain that in the next one - better to be thought of as a great giver than a tyrannical taker of money.
If you want my acer aspire guess - if Microsoft is smart, they'll release the OS sometime later this year - either in Q3 or Q4. If I were them, I would release it sometime in September or October, zxcsky09520 which allows them some time to reach the end of the year with the brand new PC sales and the free upgrades to the brand new OS - shifting public perception in their favor.
